PRIMARY FUNCTION: Support daily procurement activities, manage supplier relationships and on-time delivery, focus on building a cost effective on-demand supply chain. Maintain customer service by managing inventory levels which support the production plan, all while adhering to budgetary limitations that are best for the company. Organizational skills, ability to balance short term priorities and exceptional information analysis skills are a necessity. PRIMARY DUTIES: Plan and execute procurement of raw materials, purchased components, and manufacturing/maintenance supplies from global suppliers. Secure and analyze quotations, negotiate prices, and recommend suppliers with respect to cost, quality and delivery competitiveness.
