Position: Materials Manager Job Overview The Materials Manager’s primary responsibility is to support the day-to-day operations of the plant by managing raw material inventory flow and plant-level production scheduling. The role is directly responsible for managing plant-level purchasing, receiving, inventory adjustments, and cycle counts while adhering to inventory targets including limited excess & obsolete materials. The Materials Manager will oversee plant-level scheduling adjustments, resource management, and inventory movement in partnership with SIOP, Sourcing, and Operations teams to maximize production efficiency. This position is responsible for these duties at multiple sites and will report directly to the Director of Operations and indirectly to the respective Plant Managers and Materials Planning.
