Position Summary: Supervise and coordinate purchasing/inventory activities for the Distribution Center. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Oversee Centralized Purchasing with regards to Distribution Center inventory. Advise of capacity issues or short pick situations. Work with to keep Distribution Center in stock and prevent overstock. Provide constructive feedback to management on Central Planning performance. Inbound delivery performance reviews. Provide up to date backhaul schedules to Central Planning. Analyze and maintain proper inventory levels to meet customer requirements. Place product orders with vendors and communicate with vendors as necessary. Responsible for daily cycle counts, inventory adjustments and physical inventories.
