Materials Manager Responsibilities: - Managing crib and receiving departments process improvements through Lean Manufacturing principles - Planning and assigning tasks to crib personnel to ensure parts/materials are efficiently and properly stocked, picked and issued to support production - Enforcing the daily cycle count process and making/requesting approvals based on cycle count policy - Timely communication of inventory discrepancies to operations and financial management - Coordinating storage location capacities to accommodate changes in item inventory levels - Analyzing inventory for excess and/or obsolete materials/components - Analyzing production backlog and establishing a production plan for customer, engineering, and internal orders Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field - 5+ years of experience in a relevant role - Experience with Oracle - Strong people management experience (10+ people)
