Position Summary: Carboline is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Intern to develop while supporting one of our plants located in Lake Charles, LA, Dayton, NV, or Green Bay, WI. This person would be responsible for assisting with process improvements (waste elimination), Value Stream Mapping, and daily continuous improvement framework accountability. This person will report directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager, with dotted line accountability to the local Plant Manager. Requirements: · High School Diploma or equivalent · Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program with an interest in Lean Manufacturing (i.e. Industrial Engineering) Physical Requirements: This position may require light physical activity and computer usage for an extended period of time – up to 8 hours in a day.
