This is a W2 contract opportunity Duration: 11-12 months Hours: 40/week Pay: $30/hr - $38/hr ASSIGNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the production of all pre-designed In-Store Marketing (ISM), including headers, info signs, backer paper, and other items handed off from the Print and Design team. Directs the specification and quality of print and manufacturing by managing all mechanical and color proofing as well as conducting press checks for specified ISM. Requests estimates from vendors when necessary, obtaining multiple estimates when time allows. Recommends new materials and production processes. Coordinates with Cross Functional Team (CFT) and vendors to maintain print production timelines in conjunction with established processes to meet group objectives. Job Summary: The Continuous Improvement Specialist III reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is responsible for driving organizational culture and capabilities in CI to enable improved product flow, quality, on-time delivery, and labor efficiencies from manufacturing processes. Essential Job Responsibilities: · Develop standards and organizational capability for using lean tools like 5S, information & material flow, standard work, visual workplace, poke yoke, value stream design, TPM, etc · Improve business performance by facilitating kaizen events with cross functional teams and by driving the incorporation of lean concepts into processes within manufacturing or elsewhere in the organization · Lead cross functional teams through value stream design, current and future state · Attend daily tier management meetings and drive problem solving at the gemba · Perform time studies, line balancing, cell design, waste reduction, standard work audits, 5S audits, etc....
