DIRECTOR OF DC OPERATIONS The Director of DC Operations is a critical member of the management team and reports to the Vice President – DC Operations. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of their assigned DC which includes: inbound receiving, outbound shipping, order fulfillment, labor management and other activities that are carried out by the facilities. The key metrics for this position are cost reduction, productivity improvement, quality, service level attainment and safety.   RESPONSIBILITIES • Directs the day-to-day operations of the DC to ensure safe, timely, high quality product delivery while reducing costs.  • Partners with Human Resources on interviewing, hiring, performance management, terminations and counseling within the Distribution center. • Reports and tracks department numbers and corrective actions. • Establish and adjust work procedures and shift schedules to meet deadlines...
