This position is responsible for scheduling assigned work centers and ensuring that associated materials required are procured. The Buyer Planner ensures that adequate supplies of material and work orders to fabricate through production are being scheduled to meet customers’ requirements and Spectrum committed ship dates. This position works closely with manufacturing and customer solutions specialist to maintain adequate inventory levels on hand, job schedules for operations, and responsiveness to customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Reviews new orders as part of the Contract Review process to confirm ship dates. Utilizes ERP system (IQMS) to deploy scheduling techniques to satisfy all production and secondary activities. Verifies for accuracy.
