Our client in Sterling Heights, MI is in need of an Materials Manager SUMMARY Materials Manager RESPONSIBILITIES Monitors daily production schedules and output to ensure customer requirements are met Container Management for external customers and J2 internal Compiles Materials KPIs, daily, weekly, and monthly sales data for Plant Manager and Accounting Analyzes material purchasing and expediting activities to ensure proper procedures are followed Achieve materials budget by monitoring inventory levels and inventory targets, and ensures all efforts are made to achieve reduced required inventory levels EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree – Field of study: Supply Chain Management/Business or related 5-8 years of work and supervisory experience Working understanding of ERP/MRP systems (QAD preferred) Should have a working knowledge of best practices in inventory management, supply chain...
