Progressive Components has a great opportunity for a Senior Buyer in our Wauconda office. This position will be responsible for the purchase of finished and semi-finished components for assembly and distribution. The primary focus is determining sufficient inventory levels, cutting spot buy, release, and blanket purchase orders to suppliers, and expediting to provide exceptional customer satisfaction. Working with both domestic and international suppliers and developing relationships, while ensuring supply chain performance and cost optimization. This is a hybrid role that will be required to be onsite a few days a week at the Wauconda, Illinois location.
