Our client is a multi-location, fourth-generation, family-owned business based in the Central Western Suburb area area. They are seeking a Fresh Flower Buyer .
DIRECT HIRE
PAY RATE: $75,000/yr-$100,00/yr DOE
MONDAY-FRIDAY with flexibility such as reduced summer hours to allow for a healthy work-life balance. Includes opportunity to add paid hours supporting front lines at peak times depending on individual’s availability.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Evaluate, create and oversee standing orders with vendors which meet order needs.
Oversee and coordinate transportation logistics, monitoring shipments.
Frequently review pricing and adjust in order to ensure margins are met.
Update seasonal pricing sheets.
Manage sales orders and execute purchases to ensure product arrives in time for those orders, finding alternate solutions when needed.
