PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to support the machine division assembly and supplyareaswith needed materials on a daily basis. JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES) Develop and verify purchase orders for quantity, price, due date, and supplier per planning parameters. Release signed purchase orders per predetermined dollar limits. Expedite and de-expedite purchase orders due to changes in demand or count. Cancel orders not needed in order to control inventory. Creatively supply assembly lines and sub-assembly stations with purchased material, includingpermissionnotes for material substitution. Respond to MRP and receiving exception reports.
