Job Description:
The Warehouse & Production Manager will oversee both shipping, receiving, inventory, quality control, light assembly and capital production of equipment. They will supervise, train, and directly manage both assembly and capital production teams.
Salary + Benefits $80-90,000k per annum with full benefits
Job Responsibilities:
• Trains, supervises and manages warehouse, assembly and capital production teams ensuring effective and high-quality day-to-day operations
• Ensures capital equipment is assembled, quality tested, palletized, and dressed on time per production schedules
• Ensures products are assembled on time; there is inventory of final assembled good is on hand for order fulfillment
• Manages outbound shipping and receiving policies, teams and outcomes, ensuring orders are received and inventoried properly, quality inspected, and processed on time
• Process receiving and shipping within ERP system. Includes serialization & scanning of items entering and leaving facility
• Develops policies and procedures with capital production teams to determine product handling, storage, equipment utilization, inventory, and work processes
• Works with operations teams and capital production schedulers to establish production and assembly schedules and timelines
• Schedules routine maintenance on warehouse and production equipment, such as forklifts and weights
• Coordinates with purchasing to keep warehouse and capital production teams stocked with necessary materials to build, assemble, and execute according to production schedules
• Ensures health and safety protocols are being adhered to; works with Human Resources to execute safety and health improvements
• Investigates opportunities for improvement, and implements projects to enhance outcomes in assembly, shipping and handling, quality control, and capital production
• Assists in interviewing, recruiting and ensuring proper staffing levels for warehouse, assembly and capital production teams Skills & Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience managing warehouse, assembly and or capital production teams
• Forklift certified preferred, but not required
• Strong computer & IT literacy
• Experience with ERP systems, including scanners and barcoding of items
