JOB TITLE: Commissary Production Manager (Facility)

Seeking Commissary Production Manager to manage one facility in the Bay Area. This role is a FT position that will come with a full benefits package, PTO, 401k and much more! Salary range is estimated to be between $90,000-110,000 annually. Please apply to this position to be considered for this great opportunity!

The Commissary Production Manager will oversee day to day production of an assortment of baked goods, which will be slated for satellite locations in and around the area. Our company needs to ensure this Manager keeps our standards intact, as well as follows company guidelines. While we continue to grow, it will be exponential to maintain great training programs, foster development tactics, and promote current employees to the next level. For this role, there will be an expectation for travel and or residing in one location for multiple hours in the day with a varied schedule.   

Below you will find some other key responsibilities this role will oversee:

Product

·       Ensure food costs at Commissary meets or exceeds budgets

·       Ensure each satellite location is always stocked with 100% quality products, and deliveries are made in a timely manner prior to opening

People

·       Pursues applicants on ATS system for positions in the Commissary by means of phone screens, in person stages, and interviews

·       Train new employees in accordance with checklists and training trackers – follows up with other Managers to ensure proper implementation

·       Mentors and develops team members by means of skills, knowledge, efficiencies, and abilities

·       Conducts 30-day reviews as well as company annual reviews for all employees in the Commissary

Operations

·       Completes full team schedules to ensure coverage, training and allocation of in-house resources are to appropriate standards

·       Makes recommendations for improving culinary excellence with new efficiencies  

·       Adheres to company SOPs and recipe directives

Financial

·       Oversees ordering and inventory

·       Manages shelf life and production waste and works to establish the proper PARs

Equipment, Maintenance & Safety

·       Operates a clean, organized and safe work environment

·       Conducts quarterly bakery audits

Qualifications

·       A minimum of three years prior experience as a Commissary Baker Manager/Bakery Production Manager

·       Ability to work 50 hours on a weekly basis

·       Forward thinking in planning, scheduling, and production

·       Quick to react with challenges, and solution oriented

·       Leads by example with knowledge and respect

·       Holds everyone accountable

·       Ability to follow standard guidelines for a variety of procedures
