Job Description

The Supply Chain Specialist will have a focus on project and process management. Core responsibilities include managing inventory levels, interacting with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of products as well as other inventory management tasks. The Supply Chain Specialist will also be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve supply chain efficiency. Be team member or lead local and if applicable international projects on improvement of SAP systems, digitalization, processes, and synergy/standardization-sharing and implementing best practices. Additionally, this role will manage, plan and steer projects on time and on budget.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for projects driving optimization within the global SC framework (SC strategy execution, Processes digitalization)
  • Ensure global guideline and framework execution (e.g. Master data framework, Phase-Out, Global SC KPIS incl. local adaptions if required) and support continuous improvement of global framework
  • Adaption and roll-out of common tools, best practices in close interaction with global functions
  • SCE counterpart for phase-in project management in alignment and supporting global SCE PDP function
  • SCE counterpart for inventory analytics and continuous NWC improvement in alignment and supporting global SCE GIM function
  • Analyze local Supply Chain relevant KPI's and implement corrective actions

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
  • 3 + years of experience in supply chain management, or related field
  • 3 + years of experience in project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, escalating issues/roadblocks, driving resolution, and prioritizing deadlines within internal & external teams
  • SAP Experience Required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • APICS certification is a plus

  • Occasional travel may be required (Within US, Canada)
