The primary purpose of the Assistant Supervisor General Stores position is to assist the warehouse Supervisor and Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising the day-to-day operations of a large storeroom/warehouse. The Assistant Supervisor will also coordinate the daily activities of storeroom/warehouse staff involved in receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing and distribution of a wide variety of Med/Surg. supplies & Materials. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Reading and writing abilities sufficient to perform all required duties of the position and to read and understand safety regulations and related information required. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in stockroom/warehouse work, retail, including obtaining, recording, storing, safeguarding, and issuing various types of equipment, materials and supplies and keeping of detailed records thereof.
