Carpenter Technology has identified soft magnetic materials and stacks for Electrification as a key strategic growth platform.  In order to help meet increasing demand for aerospace, consumer electronics and electric vehicle manufacturing customers, Carpenter Technology has invested in soft magnetics production capabilities in Reading, PA.  The stack prototyping and low-rate production facility for electric motor applications is based at the Motor Technology Center (MTC), located in Reading, PA, with plans to expand stack production at the company’s Tanner, AL location just outside of Huntsville, Alabama.   SCALE-UP AND MANUFACTURING DIRECTOR – Soft Magnetic Materials and Stacks LOCATION:  This role will require managing the prototype and low-rate manufacturing operations at the MTC in Reading, PA and scaling the operations to our Tanner, Alabama (outside of Huntsville) operations. Travel between the locations will be 25%- 50%.
