The Purchasing Administrative Assistant provides support and assistance to the Purchasing Manager in regards to proposals, bids, presentations, and vendor scheduling. The person in this role will be the primary contact for all potential supplies, tools, and equipment suppliers. Essential Job Duties Maintains and helps facilitate Supplier Agreements and NDA's for Purchasing Department Handles all new vendor calls and answers the department's rollover phone lines. Maintains potential vendor list, new vendor applications, new vendor set up, and new vendor credit reports. Prepares and assists with vendor bids, including ordering samples, organizing packets, letters, and quotes. Maintains item communication with vendors (spec sheets, UOM, packaging requirements).
