JOB SUMMARY The Senior Sourcing Analyst (Sr. Buyer) is responsible for maintaining adequate supply of purchased materials to support manufacturing operations. Yearly spend can be up to $50M. This role has broad responsibilities including but not limited to supplier selection, price negotiation, purchase order placement, expediting, and determining ordering and material flow strategies. The role will work with the Strategic Sourcing Team when dealing with critical suppliers. A strong background in ERP/MRP functionality is required in this role, preferably SAP. This position will be exposed to all levels of management, both at the local level as well as the supplier level, to deliver year over year improvements in material cost, quality, availability and inventory.
